Education Beyond Compare!

Hello!!   I'm 14 yr old Kaleigh Davis from Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Would you like to join in support of my People To People Student Ambassador tuition for the June 2012 Traditions of Europe trip?  The trip consists of 19 amazing, educational days in 6 countries.   To learn more about People To People, check out this link: http://www.peopletopeople.com/OurPrograms/SAP/Pages/default.aspx

Who Are You Supporting??

I feel that my Mother has shown me how to be a strong person.  As a single parent, my mother put in all the hours required by Habitat for the home we now live in.  And she now does childcare and takes in foster children out of our home to support our family.

Despite being low-income, my Mother & Grandmother make sure I am able to participate in activities to build on my future.   I enjoy theatre, cheerleading, dance, science & media summer camps, and track (relay, hurdles & high jump).  Find out more about me at:  http://facebook.com/kaleighdavis1998

My community involvement includes church at The Celebration Center, volunteering at The Salvation Army Shelter, representative of Rachel's Challenge at school, GuildBuilder Member - doing free play presentations to school children and senior citizens. Helping Mom with Foster Care.. And more..

I am fundraising - both door-to-door and online - to help pay my way.   So if you aren't into an outright donation, could you please check out the following pages..  www.funpastafundraising.com/shop/KALEIGHDAVIS   or  www.efundraisingonline.com/KaleighDavisPeopleToPeople

If you prefer to make a direct donation, you may do so online at  https://payment.peopletopeople.com/webpayments.aspx    Enter my Delegate Name:  Davis    and Delegate ID#  10127274

You can also mail a check to my Grandmother, Angela Nelson..  or directly to People To People (with my name & delegate ID #).   Please Contact my Grandmother at bigredsmom76@hotmail.com for that information - or for any other questions you have.

Please know that I intend to give back to my community when I return.  I will speak to schools and clubs - using my newfound knowledge, my required daily journal and pictures I'll be taking.  And being in the situation myself, I feel that my taking this trip will help give other low-income individuals hope that if they work hard at something that they really want, it can happen!

Thank You Very Much For Your Time & Consideration!

Small non profit has some big immediate needs

Hello! I am posting this information in the hopes of obtaining some much needed help for our small non profit organization. We know the economy is really tough for many people right now. Everyone is struggling and that includes us - we have not had any donations in over six months.
Our organization helps companion animals and their families who are in need as well as feral and stray animals. Right now we are looking for financial gifts, a gently used donated 3/4 ton pick up as well as a gently used small car.
We feed over 300 animals per day and work with over 250 families per year. Items such as cleaning products, animal care supplies, office supplies and gently used computer equipment are in huge demand for our group. Both laptops and desktops.
We also have several volunteer opportunities if you or someone you know would like to offer your time. Both on site and virtual opps are available.
You can learn more about us by visiting our web site at
http://www.orgsites.com/mo/whiskersandtails2/

We have a secure pay pal donate button on our web site as well as
our wish list, volunteer list and more.
Thank you so much in advance for any help that you could give.

Volunteer donation.

Hello, I never used a site like this before, and the fact that there are so many fakes out there made me hesitate fr a few minutes, but I suppose I'll try to throw some trust out there. I work with a group of people volunteering to clean lakes and parks down here in Richmond and other accessible places, sometimes in the whole D.C. metropolitan area. As a promise to some of our college or college going volunteers, we promised that we would at least give the, some "Spending money" when they go back/start going to college. We also tutor and assist High School and college kids for their work.

This was all fine and dandy, but the equipment we use to help the community costs a lot, and we are having some SLIGHT trouble with a few bills and rented trucks, and we are losing money fast. We have started to manage our money better, but we need fast as possible assistance to get the job done. We need to raise around only 400-500 dollars, which isn't that much, however, as we are non-profit, we don't necessarily have incoming income. So if anybody on this site, and I still am a bit edgy so I hope the people here are helpful, would like to make a donation please use the admins paypal account and send money to: Anthonymailz@gmail.com (Paypal account)

You can get information from Adminsclub@gmail.com (Admin S-club.) for any question. If you live around Richmond, or the D.C. area, we have many members around that help. Just send and E-mail, and you can also use us as business reference OR you can use us to build your resume. Which we can also assist. This donations are urgent as we want to continue doing what we are doing, and will personally thank anyone who is kind enough to give a donation, and I hope I was not wrong for posting for help here. So thanks in advance.

About visionary1

Hello I am  visionary person currently I have been working as a volunteer for the past 20 years in Juvenile halls and prisons, I needed a way to supliment this ministry so I started a great publication that was free, I had advertisers support it, when I first started the publication it went fromm 10,000 to 20,000 magazines per month. people would take them from my little city and send them to many all over the country including Europe, so we ended up with many Subscriptions every month, but when the ressession hit I was left holding the bag and no one could pay.

I don't want a hand out I am a 501-c3 and just need a break to get this off the ground again so we can continue to bless many all over the world.

If you think you are the person being summoned to help, please let me know.

sincerely Visionary

About oceandweller

I have problems but to hear people crying out for help just make me want to organize a group that can lend a hand. If there are people out there that are willing to help but don't want to spend the time, well this shouldn't be a problem because there are people without workand have a lot of time. If you share the same, lets put our efforts together and maybe able to help someone in real need.

nanny, sitter, volunteer to assist single mom with child care while she goes back to work

Hi, I am a single mom from rancho cucamonga. I just went through a rough split with the father of my daughter and he left us 4 weeks after she was born. She is only 2 1/2 months old and I desperately need to work. As much as I want to stay home with my daughter and take care of her I need to make a stable life for the two of us.

I just got a job offer which I have to start April 27th 2009. So I need to find a sitter soon or a better job that I can afford to hire my own, or a stay at home job.

My goals: In an ideal world I would like to continue school. Have an awesome nanny that is attentive, patient, tender, and educated to take care of my daughter while I finish school and work. I would love to work partially from home.

I need help with a sitter for the first 3 months that I work so I can get enough money to afford one myself.

I currently have no income and no money aside to support myself until I get my first paycheck.

Thank you to anyone who can offer advice or assistance.
